Bob Recine for Lady Gaga

Last weekend I finally found more photos from the session styled by Nicola Formichetti Gaga did with Mariano Vivanco, including below captures of her wearing the shoe headpiece so many of you have been asking me about Bob Recine created for this photoshoot.

Those of you who follow Bob know that his approach to hair is more of an artist rather than a hairdresser.

Artist that faithful to his “hairstyle is the ultimate expression of individuality” philosophy is able to create what suits the person, editorial idea, brand personality or fashion show the best.

Capable of making both the most classical and the most avant-garde hairdos you can imagine. And everything in between.

I’m sure you’ve read his name in last year Grammy Awards fashion & beauty credits, on V Magazine or i-D Magazine pages…

But what I think not all of you know is that the safety pin headpiece Gaga wore for Good Morning America back in February 2010, a photo of which I was kindly sent for you, was also signed by Bob Recine.

I’m sure there are more projects Gaga, Nicola and Bob have been and will be working on and I can’t wait to share all of them with you.
