I loved that look as well. Gaga looked every inch a princess in her New Year’s Eve late night – early morning Stéphane Rolland off-white couture dress.
After having seen many white dresses during the past two days, I would go either for below split sleeve dress with draped cape detail HERE or for the retro tailored mini dress with cape HERE.
A pair of crystal embellished “jewel tights”: HERE or HERE. And long leather gloves like these HERE.
A gorgeous piece of fur and pair of matching high heels of your liking plus any of below sunnies (the images will lead you to the shops) and off you go!
Many of you have been asking me about how would I translate “this” or “that” look of Gaga’s into my personal style (and I’m sorry, I’ve never come back to you on this one…). So something like this would be my very personal “translation” (or better say transcreation) of this particular look:
Not a dress kind of gal… my closet is full of jeans, pants, leggings and jumpsuits, so I would go for gem encrusted jeans or studded leggings teamed-up with asymmetric long back shirt and white faux fur gilet.
I would accessorize the look with tiny pearl or crystal earrings (the less is more here), multi strand pearl necklace (but here “the more is more” is not enough, so I’d most probably add a pearl choker as well). No gloves but two pearl featuring cocktail rings. One for each hand. The bigger, the better.
And the 2nd pair of sunglasses above. Ooor, depending on the mood, maybe something round and pearl embellished… you know, something “Sonia Rykiel SS09″ inspired like the one below. There would be a third option – crystal embellished frames.
Oh and shoes… hmmm… I think I’d most probably go for below dangerously fierce babies I found the other day together with the rest of my New Year’s Eve outfit. If interested, click on the images to see where
