Leaving Her Hotel in Hong Kong, part 2: Lady Gaga in Lara Jensen
Posted on Friday, May 4, 2012
The black headpiece with silk tule veil Gaga wore yesterday to crown her Osman Fall 2012 look, was custom created for her by London based millinery and costume designer Lara Jensen.
I took my virtual private jet and flew to London last night with a mission of bringing you more details about the creation and as always, some exclusive visuals only for your eyes.
“The Widow’s Veil” was designed around the idea of a Queen in mourning. The bespoke piece is made from a traditional millinery wired structure wrapped in black silk ribbon and embellished using black Swarovski crystal elements in the centre.
What I’ve got for you is the original Lara Jensen for Lady Gaga sketch and a photo (by Laura Borges-Ribeiro) of a similar piece Lara designed in the past (this one is not as embellished as Gaga’s and has a different style of veil).
Below only a few of Lara Jensen‘s creations.
The official site of this very talented young lady is a MUST VISIT!
