The Born This Way Ball Costumes: Christian Dada for Lady Gaga

The “Origami Crane Dress” Gaga debuted at Saitama Super Arena…

… was custom created for her by Christian Dada.

When I asked Christian about this satin pink dress with foldable skirt, he said: “The origami crane has long been a symbol of healing in the Japanese culture, a symbol Japanese people always put feelings and prayers into. I’ve made it with ‘the reality of Japan’ and ‘hope for the future’ in mind”.

There are about 120 hours of work behind this bespoke wearable piece of art above exclusive sketch and this studio photo of I was kindly sent for you!
