After publishing the first two pictures of Lady Gaga from the upcoming September 2012 issue, Vogue US released a few more and a behind the scenes video of Gaga’s Vogue 120th anniversary issue cover shoot.
Gaga was photographed in New York by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in homage to the very first cover of Vogue, “A Debutante” from 1892.
Among many other gorgeous creations from Fall 2012 collections, Gaga posed for Mert and Marcus in Fox and Goat Hat…
… and Beaver Hat, both seen on Marc Jacobs Fall 2012 runway, both created by Stephen Jones for Marc Jacobs.
After the Fall 2012 show, Stephen Jones told Vogue UK: “Marc had this idea about the face being surrounded by volume and about beauty. We researched Edwardian shapes and Veronica Lake shapes”.
