“FAME” Launch Party at the Guggenheim Museum: The Crown by Mordekai
Posted on Sunday, September 16, 2012
Let me tell you a few more details about the custom made Mordekai crown Gaga wore for the “FAME” Launch Party at the Guggenheim Museum.
Inspired by the melange of ingredients that make up Gaga’s debut fragrance, the 24-karat-gold-plated crown was designed by Ken Borochov, New York based Israeli designer and fashion stylist, and the creative mind behind Mordekai, the extreme adornment luxury line he launched back in 2009.
Lady Gaga wore the Crown Fruit and Flower Wreath throughout the press junket and “Sleeping with Gaga” performance installation. And you have also seen her wearing the “apricot, bees, belladonna berries, jasmines, peonies and orchid patterned” Mordekai crown during her interview for CNN.
You know Coco Chanel‘s famous “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and remove one accessory”. Well there is no “less is more” in the world of Mordekai. It’s quite the opposite.
“Put three more on and a crown!” kind of opposite to be precise.
