Out in Paris: Lady Gaga in Azzedine Alaïa

Lady Gaga is currently in Paris, where she’ll be performing The Born This Way Ball show at the sold-out Stade de France stadium in front of about 80,000 fans tonight.

Last night, she was snapped arriving back to her hotel wearing fantastic impeccably tailored Azzedine Alaïa wide notched lapel bolero illusion leopard print coat, featuring designer’s signature exposed double zip front closure and cocoon (or tulip or lantern if you prefer) shaped skirt.

Every time I see a leopard print garment signed by Mr. Alaïa, below images from Fall 1991 collection, featured more than twenty years ago in Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar respectively, are always the ones that pop in my mind.

Azzedine Alaïa laser-cut leather clutch and platform Pleaser ankle boots completed the look.
