Private Dinner at Palazzo Versace: Lady Gaga in Vintage Versace
Posted on Tuesday, October 2, 2012
Yesterday, Donatella Versace tweeted she was “Looking forward to hosting Lady Gaga for dinner tonight in Milan. She is so inspiring. I cannot wait!”. Later on Gaga shared a photo of herself walking into Palazzo Versace on Via Gesù in Milan, Donatella “covered in 40,000 roses” for her.
She looked sensational wearing red body loving dress, a vintage treasure from Versace archive.
This 20-years-young precious thing, with bondage bodice and second skin skirt with gold Medusa button embellished pockets, was presented by Carla Bruni on Gianni Versace runway (min 1:53) as part of Fall 1992 “Bondage” collection and also featured advertising campaign by Irving Penn, modeled by Christy Turlington.
You’ll remember Gaga wearing another dress from this collection for Cosmopolitan back in 2010.
The look was styled with black Versace sunglasses, Medusa medallion belt and clutch, and Pleaser boots.
