Another day, another cover. And not any cover. Billboard “Born This Way is our 1000th no. 1″ cover (plus interview by Bill Werde)!
On the 1000th no. 1 photo captured by Mariano Vivanco and styled by Nicola Formichetti, Gaga wears Black latex coat by MUGLER, shoes by Noritaka Tatehana and Shoe hat by Bob Recine.
Don’t have a photo of the latex coat but you’ll remember the blue piece from the first MUGLER by Nicola Formichetti show.
I believe hers was created in line with the aesthetic of the recently presented men’s RTW collection.
Bob Recine both styled Gaga’s hair and created the Shoe headpiece.

The make-up artist behind this cover is a man I don’t have to present to any of you – Billy B.
Such a gifted person. Such an awesome human being.
The shoes were custom crafted for Gaga by Noritaka Tatehana who, in the middle of preparing his upcoming exhibition, kindly sent me below captures that have not been published yet.
So far only the “Billboard team” was able to see them up close. And now you. Not bad at all ha?
Please give it all up fooor… Continue reading
