Born This Way Artwork Fashion Credits

Posted on Wednesday, June 22, 2011

I received the last photo (from this project) I tried to get for you, so finally here come the BTW Artwork Fashion Credits!

I believe the only outfit I don’t have to introduce you to is Gaga’s bespoke moulded black leather bodice and her alien platform boots by MUGLER.

The slime outfit…

… was created by Dutch artist Bart Hess who also collaborated with Gaga on Born This Way video.

Bart works in primitive and infinite ways. He works with his instinct and starts by using a material on the body, exploring volumes and ways of re-shaping the human silhouette. In fast speed, expelling all his creative energy.

He creates imagery that captures future human shapes and new body forms. He’s discovering a low-tech prosthetic way for human enhancement.

Bart sent me some photos for you he made during the development of the slime for Gaga.

And I want to invite you to visit his site, to get to know his work better and see more beautiful photos from this photoshoot.

The black perspex hat on the picture above is from Charlie Le Mindu Spring 2011.

I’m sure you’ll remember Gaga wearing the Pink Flamingo Dress from the same collection.

The patent platforms with metallic heels (same as Gaga’s Dance In The Dark cover gold jumpsuit) belong to Alexander McQueen Fall 2007 “In Memory of Elizabeth Howe, Salem, 1962″ collection.

The vintage stone washed denim pants were purchased in Beyond Retro store.

If you belong to the vintage lovers community, this is a little paradise, so brooowse the site while you are there!

The top above is by Agent Provocateur.

Black bra below is by Kiki de Montparnasse.

Both sites are fuuull of yummy lingerie. Browse, browse, brooowse!

And the last one. Gaga wearing mirror hat and dress.

Both created by Austrian fashion designer Daniela Karlinger for Gaga.

“Shape” mirror outfit consists of two parts. The dress and the cape you can see on both the sketch and the picture below I was kindly sent for you.

Gaga was wearing the cape as a hat.

X Factor France: Lady Gaga in Charlie Le Mindu

Posted on Wednesday, June 15, 2011

Gaga stopped by X Factor France and performed a medley of Edge Of Glory, Judas and Born This Way.

Same as her teal hair suit, one of the costumes she donned during Paul O’Grady Show, …

… her X Factor black outfit and keytar were made by Charlie Le Mindu.

100% human hair from Hairdreams extentions.

For the blue outfit Charlie used some of the 34 Directions Semi Permament Hair Colours.

Lady Gaga at Radio 1′s Big Weekend

Posted on Monday, May 16, 2011

Lady Gaga headlined the second day of Radio 1′s Big Weekend in Carlisle, UK yesterday.

Below what I was able to find out about her costumes so far. Found out something else? Drop me a line! ;)

She started her concert with Born This Way dressed in “Pregnant Outfit” designed by Charlie le Mindu

… and black latex suit by HMS Latex.

Underneath the jacket it was another HMS Latex Cropped Top, this time in black.

Both her Rubber Bandage Dress and Dancing Shorts belong to Void of Course Impossibility of Love collection.

The first thing I wanted the moment I was sent the Impossilibity of Love lookbook, was this Elastic Skirt

… Gaga wore (hope for more photos!) yesterday night for the interview with BBC Radio 1.

That one will be mine as soon as it arrives to the Void of Course onine store (first pieces already available for purchase, new stuff will be added very soon)!
