“Volantis”, the world’s first flying dress, was not the only piece of TechHaus – Studio XO couture Gaga debuted during her Sunday night artRave extravaganza.
Both the Parametric Sculpture Dress and Headpiece, Gaga walked the artRave white carpet in…
… and the Volantis Flight Couture (accessorized with custom Giuseppe Zanotti Crystal Boots), are one of a kind looks created by TechHaus – Studio XO.

“Lots of EXCITING announcements coming today w/ @HM, the Haus’ newest invention ‘VOLANTIS’, and my new TECH companies PETGA Inc & TechHaus”, Lady Gaga tweeted a while ago.
As for her collaboration with H&M, we’ll have to wait and see but I can give you a few more details about “VOLANTIS” (in Latin, present participle of volāre/to fly) – the world’s first flying dress!
After “Anemone” Dress, featuring an integrated bubble factory, “VOLANTIS” is the second creation from the TechHaus‘ Series of ARTPOP Couture Technologies.
TechHaus‘ most extreme invention to date will be presented on Sunday, November 10. The demonstration of this exciting new technology will be followed by a press conference with Lady Gaga.
The event is taking place in Brooklyn. The location is yet to be disclosed.
What can I add? CAN. NOT. WAIT! #VOLANTIS
The bespoke Bedazzled Shell Bustier, Lady Gaga rocked on the iTunes Festival #SwineFest stage, for her V Magazine secret party performance and for her appearance on Watch What Happens Next, was custom created by Rodrigo Otazu, an Argentinian jeweler and artist, I don’t have to introduce to any of you.
When I asked Rodrigo about the one-off creation, fruit of collaboration with Haus of Gaga, he told me: “It took 9000 hand placed crystals for me to design this bra and there is only one Lady who could bring it to life”.
While I finish the next fashion story, you can browse Gaga Fashionland exclusive Rodrigo Otazu file and see (again) all the pieces he created for Lady Gaga!

Lady Gaga was the guest on last night Bravo TV’s Watch What Happens Live! show with Andy Cohen.
During the ExtravaGAGAnza interview, Gaga talked her art influences, collaboration with Cher and Beyoncé, about Miley Cyrus, One Direction, Christina Aguilera, her all time favourite outfit, the craziest place she has ever had sex and much more…
If you missed it, you can watch the interview and also watch Gaga giving Andy an ARTPOP makeover, on Youtube here and here. For the best clips and a handful of photos, visit Bravo TV. #hi·la·rious #oneofmyalltimefavourites

Lady Gaga’s Bubble Dress 2.0 is called “Anemone”.
The piece is a fruit of collaboration of TechHaus, the technical division of the Haus of Gaga, with Studio XO, a London-based fashion and technology company that creates and engineers interactive wearable experiences at the crossroads of physical-digital media.
Featuring an integrated bubble factory, “Anemone” is the first in a series of couture technologies to be released by the TechHaus/Studio XO during the ARTPOP era.
Can’t wait to see the next creation!
