The Born This Way Ball Costumes: Haus of Gaga

Posted on Monday, June 11, 2012

As promised, I shared with you everything I was able to find out about Lady Gaga’s “The Born This Way Ball” costumes.

In seven previous chapters we see Gaga wearing bespoke creations by Christian Dada, Giorgio Armani, Void of Course, Perry Meek, Moschino, Tex Saverio and Salvatore Salamone and Versace.

Today’s chapter, so far the last one, is about the pieces Haus of Gaga custom made for her:

Black crystal embellished suit – cropped military jacket with oversized epaulettes and contrast trim and cuffs, and matching pants.

Two-tone military breeches with asymmetrical snap closure, quilted knees and inside leg zip detail, Gaga wears with Perry Meek Gun Bra.

Many of you told me you wouldn’t mind adding them to your closet. Shall we make a multitudinous appointment at the Haus? ;)

Sleeveless red jacket with notched lapel, architectural exaggerated shoulders and tapered cape like back.

And so far the last one (and I’ve only found one picture of this black leather baby):  Haus of Gaga x Versace Cross Jacket.

We haven’t seen all the costumes yet. Gaga is revealing them bit by bit, so I hope I’ll be able to share the next chapter with you soon!

The Born This Way Ball Poster: Lady Gaga in Perry Meek

Posted on Saturday, April 7, 2012

The sleveless Piano Dress with plunging neckline Gaga wears on The Born This Way Ball official poster was created by Perry Meek, Haus of Gaga in-house costume designer.

Hope we get a chance to see it closer as the piece features a real keyboard!

“After 1.5 months of grueling rehearsal the stage is now fully built and set up for the last three weeks of preparation…” Gaga tweeted twelve hours ago, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who can’t wait for this #feelslikeneverending Gaga fashion withdrawal period to be over!

Coming next: Back in Time. I’ll take you back to the April, 2009 and show you a couple of pieces Gaga wore that will make us travel even further back in time!

Alan Carr: Chatty Man – Lady Gaga in YSL, Roksanda Ilincic, Philip Treacy and Perry Meek

Posted on Monday, November 21, 2011

Gaga visited Alan Carr on his Chatty Man show.

In three segments – Interview, “Cooking with Gaga” and acoustic “Marry The Night” performance, Gaga did three costume changes.

After chatting with Alan dressed in black YSL archive top and suitpants ensemble, matching hat, gloves and Chanel pearls…

… Gaga donned another gorgeous colour-block number from Roksanda Ilincic Spring 2012 collection.

She teamed-up her mustard lantern-sleeve top and cement grey pencil skirt zipper back dress with black plate hat and matching belt.
I believe her headpiece is one of the metallic saucer hats Philip Treacy created for Armani Privé Spring 2011 runway.

After a quick costume change Gaga appeared on the set wearing my favourite piece from Roksanda Ilincic Spring 2012 collection.

This bright fuchsia lantern-sleeve top fabulosity with exposed orange zipper back detail.

Super-sized super-cute fuchsia bow by Perry Meek @ Haus of Gaga crowned the look.

iHeartRadio Music Festival Performance, part 2: Lady Gaga in Perry Meek/Haus of Gaga

Posted on Sunday, October 9, 2011

You guys keep asking me about the oversized fringe hat Gaga rocked for her one-off performance at iHeartRadio Music Festival.

As many of her stage costumes before, included the studded leather coat Gaga teamed-up the hat with, this piece was custom made by Haus of Gaga in-house costume designer Perry Meek.

Can’t wait to see the costumes for the upcoming tour! Yoü?
