Got a “Rock Her Style” request from Adriana and Juliette, related to the sunglasses with flower appliqué Gaga wore on the picture below.
Not sure who made hers but found a bunch of gorgeous (and affordable) pairs in different shapes you may like.
If you want me to (try to) find a garment or accessory from Gaga’s closet or something similar, let me have your “Go Gaga” or “Rock Her Style” request to: firstname.lastname@example.org

Got an e-mail from one of Gaga Fashionland longtime readers, Antonin, this morning: “I was wondering what were the sunglasses Gaga sported yesterday in Tacoma. I first thought these were her beloved Lanvin Way Shiners, but they’re actually a bit different. I had personnally been looking for a pair of Lanvin Way Shiner, but they’re just incredibly rare and you can’t find them anymore… so I hope these new Gaga oversized sunglasses will be a little bit easier to get. Thanks in advance”!
The sunnies Gaga wore are Grey Ant Status (Honey B loooves these). Oversized, gorgeously thick wayfarers with an 80′s flair, featuring tinted lens and silver tone hardware at the corners.
Available at Akira, Farfetch (in black and dove clay) and Ebay.
Also found a couple of Lanvin Way Shiner sunnies. The first pair HERE are the orinal SS07 ones, in Swarovski crystal embellished version. The second one HERE is Lanvin x H&M.

Lady Gaga was captured out in New York City this weekend, wearing a work of art from Amsterdam-based couture house ILJA by Dutch designer Ilja Visser.
This beauuutiful piece with sculptural power shoulder cropped jacket illusion rib top and mini skirt with flowy, print silk train, belongs to ILJA Fall 2012 “SkinFonie” collection.
The concept behind “SkinFonie” is the fusion of instinctive movement, sound and the art of dance, and represents a blend of modern expressionist dance with the influence of classic ballet. Both styles find their balance in symmetric, organic forms, underlined by a combination of voluminous skirts and dresses. Sculptural and edgy, yet innocent looks with super feminine feeling.
Visit ILJA to see the entire collection!
The look was styled with white fur cape, sparkling, crystal-embellished retro-style sunglasses from Marc Jacobs Fall 2012 limited edition (each of the 500 pairs comes in a crystal-encrusted case for added glamour) and Brian Atwood patent pumps!

Just a few minutes after I published the previous article, your “need to know more about those sunnies“ requests started pouring into my emailbox.
The best person to introduce them to you is Lara Jensen herself, so I asked the designer to give us more deets about the Maggot Sunglasses from her upcoming SS13 “Vanitas” collection, Lara’s first full solo collection.
“The lenses are special as they are handcraft and flat. No curve in them at all, so they are very vampish. Think Bram Stoker’s Dracula/Victorian style.”, she told me. “The glasses are plated in 18k gold and have gold maggot detail on the sides, the curved ear pieces and the bridge of the nose”.
Maggot limited edition sunglasses are currently available on a made to order basis (£325.00). You can have them with black or red lenses. Contact Lara Jensen for more details.
