While in Japan, Gaga gave a press conference held at Tokyo Sky Tree, the world’s tallest broadcasting and observation tower located in Sumida, Tokyo.
For this very special moment she donned a bespoke wearable piece of art, “Mirror Dress” by young Japanese designer Daisuke Yoshikawa.
I made another virtual trip to Tokyo, to meet my friends at Candy / Fake Tokyo, who “discovered” Daisuke Yoshikawa and introduced his work to Gaga, and the designer himself (who kindly shared below exclusive sketch and “work in progress” sheets with me).

It took a year since the idea was born until the dress was finished.
Inspired by the architecture, Daisuke Yoshikawa, who’s curently working on his own fashion label Grapeman, used about 3000 pieces of mirror!

If you plan to visit Tokyo these days, you can see the dress up close as the one-of-a-kind piece is displayed in Candy shop window!

Gaga accessorized the look with matching headpiece, Thom Browne by Dita TB-001 white gold sunnies with side shields and horn brow bar from Gogosha, and silver Daffodils by Christian Louboutin.

Everytime Gaga is in Tokyo, she always finds a moment to visit Harajuku.

For her latest visit she donned black long-sleeve cropped top and pleated A line skirt, accessorized with matching opaque tights and patent platform pumps, plus a new pair of sunglasses.
Black anodized flip-ups by Thom Browne for DITA from Gogosha Optique!

Coming next: EXCLUSIVE sketch and photo of the Origami Dress!

The round sunnies Gaga wears on the “So happy! The Stage is more than I could dream for, time to kill the dance floor. Off to rehearsal. #5DaysTillBTWBall” photo she tweeted from Seoul, belong to Thom Browne Fall 2011 collection, produced by American eyewear manufacturer DITA.
Plastic rounded frame sunglasses with raw titanium temple frame, leather peripheral trim with perforated holes, leather stem wraps with grommets and signature striping at temple tip.
Available in tortoise at Barneys.

While trying to discover where to get them, I found out that Gaga got these sunnies, as well as as “Miss Marple” from Zoë Jordan x Andy Wolf and Oliver Goldsmith “Uuksuu”, I shared with you earlier today, plus a couple of more I’m going to show you in a sec, from Gogosha Optique in Los Angeles – an eyewear land that carries some of the most amazing, independently designed, handmade frames in the universe!
Visit Gogosha Optique for more.
The other two pairs Gaga found at Gogosha, were 1960′s French Vintage Octagon sunnies she accessorized her Calvin Klein & Giuseppe Zanotti look with…

… and the matt black lightweight steel square “Palladium 002″ frames with faded lenses from Turkish company RVS by V. Handmade Eyewear, she was photographed wearing backstage in Hong Kong!
